Hey, here is my answer:

Work is not thermodynamic property, but rather process quantities or path function i.e flows of energy across a system boundary. Systems do not contain work but can perform work.

Yeah work cannot be extensive, what I actually mean work behaves like an extensive property but my internet messed up and I couldn't complete the question.

PS: The answer given in answer key was most likely wrong and 2.49 (the answer we got) wasn't even in options so I didn't bother editing this question.
