(c) Cyclone is the synonym of Hurricane. The air moves in the cyclone inwards in an anti-clock wise direction in the northern hemisphere and clock-wise in the southern hemisphere. Cyclones are divided as - 

1. Extra tropical cyclones or temperate cyclones 

2. Tropical cyclones
