The Rajasthan government is determined that in the future, no family of the state should remain homeless. Therefore, the Rajasthan government has started the Chief Minister’s Housing Scheme and the Indira Awas Yojana. Under this scheme, grants are being provided to homeless of selected rural households for free land and housing construction. In the urban areas, housing for the poor families is being made available at the low cost under the Chief Minister’s Public Housing Scheme.
