With the ongoing pace in the country, the education is also progressing with the same pace. According to the statistics, 80% of the students are going to school today. A programme named “Education For All” is being run to educate children in the age group of 6-14. Right to free and compulsory education has been enforced in the state under the Right to Education Act of 2009 since 1st April 2010. But still, 20% of the children are not going to the school and that is a matter of concern.

Following can be the reasons for that :

1. Population growth

2. Sex ratio

3. Due to privatization

4. Lack of vocational education

5. Lack of educational resources in villages

6. Less investment on education by the Government.
