Integration of logx can be solved using integration by parts method. We know that Integration by parts requires us to have two functions, so we multiply ln(x) with one.

Using integration by parts, we will take the integral of one, which is x, then write lnx as it is, then put a negative sign, integral of the integral of one (x once again) times derivative of lnx.

= x lnx − x + c
