Best answer

Let x crystals be in 1.2 kg sugar.

Then, 2 : 1.2 :: 9 × 106 : x

Product of outer terms = Product of middle terms

⇒ 2 × x = 1.2 × 9 × 106

Hence, the required crystals are 5.4 x 106.
