It is given that

Here, x = 3 and 2x + z = 4

By substituting the value of x

2(3) + z = 4

So we get

z = 4 – 6 = -2

Similarly

3x – y = 2

By substituting the value of x

3(3) – y = 2

So we get

y = 9 – 2 = 7

We know that

3y – w = 7

By substituting the value of y

3(7) – w = 7

So we get

w = 21 – 7 = 14

Therefore, x = 3, y = 7, z = – 2 and w = 14.
