Direct Free Kick : A direct free kick is a method of restarting play in a game of football following a foul. A goal may be scored directly against the opposing side without the ball having first touched another player.
A direct free kick is awarded to the opposing team if a player commits any of the following offenses :
• Kicks or attempts to kick an opponent.
• Charges an opponent.
• Handles the ball deliberately (except for the goalkeeper within his own penalty area).
