Separate out (Filter out) the supplementary and complementary angles from the following pairs of angles :

(i) 140°, 40°
(ii) 170°, 10°
(iii) 75°, 15°
(iv) 33°, 57°
(v) 115°, 65°

(i) 140°, 40°

Sum of angles = 140° + 40° = 180°

∴ These are supplementary angles.

(ii) 170°, 10°

Sum of angles = 170° + 10° = 180°

∴ These are supplementary angles.

(iii) 75°, 15°

Sum of angles = 75° + 15° = 90°

∴ These are complementary angles.

(iv) 33°, 57°

Sum of angles = 33° + 57° = 90°

∴ These are complementary angles.

(v) 115°, 65°

Sum of angles = 115° + 65° – 180°

∴ These are supplemental angles.

(vi) 25°, 65°

Sum of angles = 25° + 65° = 90°

∴ It is complementary angles.
