Arranging the following in ascending order 147, 148, 148, 148, 149, 149, 149, 150, 150, 150, 151, 151, 151, 151, 151, 152, 152, 152, 152, 152, 153

(i) No. of observations (n) = 21 (odd)

Median of observations = { \left( \frac { n+1 }{ 2 } \right) }^{ th } terms

{ \left( \frac { n+1 }{ 2 } \right) }^{ th } term = 11 term = 151

Mode of observations =151 and 152 because these are repeated more time (5 times each)

(ii) Yes, 151 and 152 occurs 5 times so the mode of observations is 151 and 152.
