Best answer

Sunil purchased mangoes = 5(1/2) kg or 11/2 kg

Vijay purchased mangoes = 3(4/5) kg or 19/5 kg

∴ Sunil purchased more mangoes = (11/2) – (19/5)

∴ = (11/2) – (19/5) = (11 x 5 - 19 x 2)/10

= (55 - 38)/10 = 17/10 kg (L.C.M. of 2 and 5 = 10)
