Let us assume that given sides are BC =7 cm, AS = 4 cm and AC = 5 cm Steps of construction

Step I Draw a line BC = 7 cm

Step II With centre B and radius 4 cm draw an arc.

Step III With centre C and radius 5 cm, draw an arc which cuts the previous arc at A.

Step IV Join AB and AC.

Hence, ΔABC is the required triangle in which AB = 4 cm, BC =7 cm and AC = 5 cm
