Best answer

Interest for Rs. 700 = Rs. 168

⇒ Interest for Rs. 1 = Rs. 168/700

⇒ Interest for Rs 1500 = Rs. (168 x 1500)/700

= Rs. 360

Thus, Rs 360 will be the interest on Rs. 1500 for the same time and some rate of interest.
