(i) Draw a diagram of the nucleds of a cell, having chromosome number 6, as it would appear in the Metaphase stage of Mitosis and label the following parts in the diagram:

(ii) Mention the difference between Mitosis and Meiosis with reference to : 

1. No. of daughter cells formed at the end of the division.

Mitosis Meiosis
(1) It produces two daughter cells. (1) It prouduces four daughter cells.
(2) The chromosome number of the daughter cell remains exactly same as the parent cell (2) The chromosome number of the daughter cell become half of the parent cell.
