Let us assume the other number be y.

Given, product of two rational number = -14/27

One number = 7/9

Then,

= y × (7/9) = -14/27

= y = (-14/27)/ (7/9)

= y = (-14/27) × (9/7)

= y = (-2/3) × (1/1)

= y = -2/3

So, the other number is -2/3
