From the question it is given that,

Total number of students were sitting in a lecture room = 8649

Let us assume number of students in each row be ‘a’

Then,

Total number of students = a × a

8649 = a2

By taking square root on both side,

a = √(8649)

a = √(93 × 93)

a = √(93)2

a = 93

∴The number of students in each row is 93.
