10x – 5 – 7x = 5x + 15 – 8

We have,

10x – 5 – 7x = 5x + 15 – 8

3x – 5 = 5x + 7

Transposing – 5 to RHS it becomes 5 and 5x to LHS it becomes -5x.

3x – 5x = 7 + 5

– 2x = 12

x = -12/2

x = – 6
