1. An off-side is a position when a player is nearer to his opponents’ goal line, than both the ball and the second last opponent. It is not an offence in itself to be in an off-side position.
2. A free kick is a kick which is awarded to the team if the opposing team has made a fault. This kick is taken from the place where the opposing team has made the fault.
3. Heading means to re-direct the ball towards the net. A defender heads the ball to deflect it away from the goal. In heading, forehead hits the overhead coming ball.
4. Passing means passing the ball to own teammate who is close. The ball is slightly pushed so that it should reach to the desired point.
