40 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 5

∴ HCF of 25 and 40 = 5

ii. 56, 32

∴ 56 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 7

32 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2

∴ HCF of 56 and 32 = 2 × 2 × 2

∴ HCF of 56 and 32 = 8

iii. 40, 60, 75

∴ 40 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 5

60 = 2 × 2 × 3 × 5

75 = 3 × 5 × 5
