A 230 V DC shunt motor has an armature resistance of 0.1 Ω and shunt field resistance of 275 Ω. It runs at a speed of 1000 rpm when drawing current of 75 A from supply. Calculate the additional resistance to be inserted in a armature circuit to reduce motor speed to 800 rpm at increased flux by 20% while maintaining same drawing current.
