Human Right Watch is the international NGO which is involved in the research and advocacy on Human right. Also, it is the largest international human rights organisation in the United States of America. 

Human Rights watch’s main contributions to the field of human rights: 

1. It attracts the global media’s attention to human rights abuses. 

2. It helped in building international coalitions like the campaigns to ban landmines, to stop the use of child soldiers and to established the international criminal court. 

3. It dislikes violations of what it considers basic human rights, which includes capital punishment and discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation. It also advocates freedoms in connection with fundamental human rights, like freedom of religion and press.
