Extension – Straightening or extending the parts at a joint that increase the angle between the parts and move farther apart. Extension at the elbow is increasing the angle between the ulna and the humerus. Extension of the knee straightens the lower limb
Adduction – It is characterized as moving a part toward the midline. For example, returning the upper limb from the horizontal position to the side of the body. The direction of the movement is towards the midline.
