(a) Brihadeshwara Temple (Raja Rajeswara Temple) was builtby emperor Raja Raja Chola I in 1010 AD. Meenakshi Temple located on the southern bank of the Vaigai River ( Madurai, Tamil Nadu). It is dedicated to Parvati known as Meenakshi.Srirangam temple is one of the most illustrious Vaishnava temples in South India located on an island on the bank of Cauvery river.The Durga temple is located in Aihole, Karnataka. It was built by Chalukyas between the 7th and the 8th century.
