Here, I = \(\frac{I_0}{2}\)

Using Malus law,, 

I = I0 cos2 θ

\(\frac{I_0}{2}\) = I0 cos2 θ

cos θ ± \(\frac{1}{\sqrt2}\)

θ = ± 45°, ± 135°
