Best answer

(d) x = 0

Given ay2 = x2(3a – x)

The point of intersection with y-axis by putting x = 0

In (1) = ay2 = 0 (3a – 0)

ay = 0 ; y = 0

∴ The curve intersects y-axis at the origin is x = 0
