Given, 

[A0] = 0.02 M ; t1/2 = 10 min

[A0] = 0.04 M ; t1/2 = ? 

Substitute in (1) 

10 min 0.02 M …..(2) 

t1/2 ∝ 0.04 M ……..(3)

Dividing Eq.(3) by Eq. (2) we get

\(\frac{t^{1/2}}{10\,min}\) = \(\frac{0.04M}{0.02M}\)

t1/2 = 2 x 10 min = 20 min
