Best answer

Given that f(x) = (x3 - x + 3)/(x2 - 1)

Here, f(x) is not defined if x2 – 1 ≠ 0

(x – 1) (x + 1) ≠ 0

x ≠ 1, x ≠ -1

Hence, the domain of f = R – {-1, 1}
