An amplitude modulated wave is represented by the expression νm = 5(1 + 0.6 cos 6280t) sin(211 × 104t) volts

The minimum and maximum amplitudes of the amplitude modulated wave are, respectively

(1)  5 V, 8 V

(2)  \(\frac{3}{2}\)v, 5V

(3)  3 V, 5 V

(4)  \(\frac{5}{2}\)V, 8V

Amax = Ac (1 + μ) = 8 V

Amim = Ac (1 – μ) = 2 V

maximum amplitude  Amax = Ac (1 + μ) =  5(1+0.6)=8

For minimum amplitude  Amim = Ac (1 – μ)    = 5(1-0.6)=2
