Best answer

Inter atomic distance = 1.13 Å

Mass of carbon atom = 12

Mass of oxygen atom = 16

Let C.M. of molecules lies at a distance of X from oxygen atom

\(m_1r_1 = m_2r_2\)

\(16X = 12(1.13 - X)\)

\(16X = 13.56 - 12X\)

\(28 X = 13.56\)

\(X = \frac{13.56}{28}\)

\(X = 0.484 \) Å
