Best answer

Number of moles of helium (n) = \(\frac{16}{4}\) = 4 ;

Number of moles of oxygen (n') = \(\frac{16}{32}\) = \(\frac{1}{2}\)

For the monoatomic helium gas, degrees of freedom, f = 3

so Cv = \(\frac {f}{2}\)R = \(\frac{3}{2}\)R

For the diatomic oxygen gas , f = 5
