(i) Chemically, vinegar is 5-8% of the acetic acid solution in water.

Formula: CH3COOH.

(ii) When ethanol reacts with sodium, it gives sodium ethoxide and hydrogen gas.

CH2CH2OH+Na  CH3CH2ONa+H2

CH2CH2OH-Ethanol

Na-Sodium metal

CH3CH2ONa-Sodium ethoxide

H -Hydrogen gas.
