(i). Physicians report the pressure of the patient’s gases in blood, analyzed by hospital lab, the values are reported as partial pressures.
Gas – Normal range

(ii). When gas is collected by downward displacement of water, the pressure of dry vapour collected is computed using Dalton’s law
