1. Essential amino acids: 

Amino acids which are not synthesised by the human body are called essential amino acids. 

Example – Valine, Leucinc. 

2. Non – essential amino acids: 

Amino acids which are synthesised by human body are called non – essential amino acids.

Example – Glycine, Aspartic acid, etc.
