Equating the expression with 0,

3x2 + 5x + 2 = 0

On factorising it further,

3x2 + 3x + 2x + 2 = 0

3x(x + 1) + 2(x + 1) = 0

(3x + 2) (x + 1) = 0

x = -2/3 or x = -1

The zeroes of 3x2 + 5x + 2 are – 2/3 and -1.
