1. Flow into Gulf of Cambay.

2. Form estuaries 

3. Narmadha, Tapti and Mahi are the major west flowing rivers.

East flowing rivers of Peninsular plateau or South India:

1. Flow into Bay of Bengal. 

2. Form Deltas 

3. Mahanadhi, Godavari, Krishna and Kaveri are the major east flowing rivers.
