Though most of the fishes, amphibians, and reptiles are oviparous there are a few exceptions to this. There are a few fishes, amphibians and reptiles which are viviparous. 

  • Sharks, stingrays, eagle rays, and giant rays are viviparous fish. 
  • Few species of frogs, toads, and salamanders are viviparous.
  • Skink, a type of lizard is also viviparous
