ARTERY VEIN
SRUCTURAL
DIFFERENCE
Arteries are thick walled and have no valves. Veins are thin walled and have valve.
FUNCTIONAL
DIFFERENCE
Arteries move oxygen rich blood away from heart (axcept pulmonary artery). Veins move deoxygenaed blood (oxygen deficient) towards heart.
