A falling apple is attracted towards the earth. 

(a) Does the apples attract the earth ? 

(b) Why doesn't earth moves towards an apple ?

(a) Yes. According to Newton's third law. The apple attracts the earth.

(b) According to Newton's second law, fora given force, acceleration a ∝ \(\frac{1}{m}\) . Here mass of an apple is negligibly small compared to earth. so we cannot see the earth moving towards and apple.
