Following are the functional difference between the striated and smooth muscle tissues:

Striated muscles Smooth muscles
It helps in the voluntary movements of the body. It is not help in any of the voluntary actions. it helps in the involuntary movements of the body.
These muscles remain attached to the bones and help in movement. These muscles do not remain attached to the bones.
For example- It is present in our limbs. For example- It is present in our oesophagus.
