Unicellular  Multicellular organisms
1. Organisms made up of only a single cell are known as unicellular organisms. 1. Organisms made up of more than a single cell are known as multi-cellular organisms.
2. Eg - Amoeba 2. Eg- Plants and animals
They each live and carry out all of their life processes as one single cell. Multicellular organisms arise in various ways, for example by cell division or by aggregation of many single cells.
