Best answer

CaCO3 → CaO + CO2

1. 1 mole of CaCO3 is involved in this reaction.

2. Gram molecular mass of calcium carbonate CaCO3 = (40 + 12 + 3 × 16) = 52 + 48 = 100 g

3. 1 mole of CO2 is in this equation.
