Best answer

Given,

Mass = 5 kg

Height = 5 m

Let g = 10 ms-2

Potential energy stored in a body of mass m and height ‘h’ will be given by = m × g × h

= 5 kg×10 ms-2×5 m

= 250 J

When the mass falls completely, same potential energy is lost = 250 J
