Carbon dioxide

Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas and is used to

extinguish fire.

The molar mass of CO2 is:

Atomic mass of C + 2 × (Atomic mass of oxygen)

⇒ 12 + 2×16

⇒ 44g/mol
