Let M be the mid point of two points (1, -5) and (4, 2).

(i) Line parallel to x-axis is

y = c 

y + 3/2 = 0 

2x + 3 = 0

(ii) Line parallel to y-axis is

x = c

x - 5/2 = 0 

2x - 5 = 0
