Best answer

For a hemisphere with radius (r),

• Volume = \(\frac{2}{3}\pi r^3\) cu. units.

• Curved surface area = \(2\pi r^2\) sq. units.

• Total surface area = \(3\pi r^2\) sq. units.

For a hollow hemisphere of external radius (R) and internal radius (r),

• Volume = \(\frac{2}{3}\pi (R^3-r^3)\) cu. units.

• Curved surface area =\(2\pi (R^2+r^2)\) sq. units.

• Total surface area = \(2\pi (R^2+r^2)\) + \(\pi (R^2-r^2)\) sq. units.
