Three resistors of 2Ω, 4Ω and 8Ω are connected in parallel with a battery of 3 V. Calculate 

(i) Current through each resistor and 

(ii) Total current in the circuit.

Potential difference across each resistor is same

(i) Current through each resistor:

(ii) Total current in the circuit: 

I =I1 + I2 + I3 

I = 1.5 + 0.75 + 0. 375 

I = 2.625 A
