Power P = 400 W

Energy consumed = Power × Time

= 400 × \(\frac{1}{2}\) = 200 Wh

Energy consumed in one week= 200 × 7

= 1400 Wh = 1.4 KWh

= 1.4 unit

∴ Total cost per week = 1.4 × 0.75 = Rs 1.05 

Weekly expense = Rs 1.05
