At what temperature will the speed of sound be double its value at 273 K?

We know that velocity of sound in a gas is inversely proportional to square root of its temperature

T1 = 0°C = 0 + 273 = 273 K 

v1 = 2v1 T2 =

∴ T2 = 4 × 273 = 1092 K 

Required temperature = 1092 K
