Best answer

We know that the power can be stated as the amount of electric energy consumed per unit time.

Power, P = \(\frac{Energy\,consumed,E}{Unit\,time,T}\)

On solving For Energy, we get

Energy, E = \(\frac{P}T\)

Here;

P = 60W

t = 1s

E = 60W x 1sec

∴ E = 60J

Thus, the energy in joules is 60J
