Difference between chromosphere and auxochrome is:
chromosphere
: There are  three main layers in the Sun's atmosphere in which the middle layer consists of chromosphere and is roughly 3,000 to 5,000 kilometers deep. Its also stated as coloured sphere.
Auxochrome : It is a group of atoms attached to a chromophore which modifies the ability of that chromophore to absorb light. They themselves fail to produce the colour; but when present along with the chromophores in an organic compound intensifies the colour of the chromogen.
